PP-R ย่อมาจาก Polypropylene Random Copolymer

เป็นพลาสติกโพลีโพรไพลีนที่มีการจัดเรียงตัวอย่างไม่เจาะจงทำให้ได้คุณสมบัติทางเคมีและกายภาพที่ดีขึ้นเหมาะสมสำหรับการใช้งานระบบที่อน้ำประปา ท่อน้ำร้อน ท่อน้ำเย็น และงานท่อประเภทอื่น ๆ ด้วย

PP-R stands for Polypropylene Random Copolymer. PP-R pipe ismade from polypropylene plastic that is randomly arranged toimprove its chemical and physical properties to be suitable forpotable water piping system, hot water pipe, cold water pipe andother piping works.

ความทนทานต่อการใช้ระบบน้ำร้อน

สามารถใช้กับน้ำร้อนได้ถึง 95 องศเซลเซียส และสามารถใช้งานได้ถึง50 ปื ภายในแรงดันไม่เกินที่กำหนด โปรดดูรายละเอียดจากตารางLong-Term Behaviour ในหน้า 21)

Resistance to hot water system:

can be used with up to 95 ~C water for 50 years under a specified working pressure (see details in the Long-TermBehaviour Table on page 21 )

สะอาด ปลอดภัย

PP-R เป็นพลาสติกที่ได้รับการยอมรับจกกรีนพีช* ว่าเป็นพลาสติกที่มีความปลอดภัย มีความสะอาดสูง ยิ่งไปกว่านั้น ท่อไทยพีพี-อาร์ยังมีการทดสอบ ตามมาตรฐาน BS 6920 PART ll ว่าไม่มีปัญหาสนิมการสะสมตะกอน ที่มาจากน้ำ การหมักหมมของเชื้อโรค ไม่มีสารเคมีเจือปนและไม่เป็น สารก่อมะเร็ง

Clean and safe:

PP-R are the plastic that approved by Green Peace as safeand clean plastic, In addition, the pipe has been testedaccording to BS 6920 PART Il standard to ensure that thepipe is free from rust, sediment deposits, germs, chemicals,and carcinogens.

ผสานกันเป็นเนื้อเดียว

การติดตั้งท่อและข้อต่อ ไทยพีพี-อาร์ ใช้วิธีให้ความร้อนจนผสานเป็นเนื้อเดียวกัน จึงมั่นใจว่าไม่เกิดปัญหาการรั่วซึมที่บริเวจุดต่อเชื่อมระหว่างท่อและข้อต่อ

Homogeneous texture;

Installation of Thai PP-R pipes and joints can be easily done by using thermal welding equipment, which fuses the pipeand the joint into homogeneous texture to ensure no leakat the connection.

ผิวเรียบ

เนื่องจากผิวมีความเรียบจึงมีความต้านทานการไหลน้อย ดังนั้นอัตราการไหลจึงดีตามไปด้วย

Smooth surface;

Low friction in the pipe due to it's smooth plastic surfacemakes the flow rate comparable to other plastic pipes.

 ใช้งานร่วมกับท่อชนิดอื่นได้

เนื่องจากมีข้อต่อเกลียวหลายขนิดและมีระบบหน้าจาน ANSI, JIS, DiNซึ่งเป็นเกลียวมาตรฐานสากลจึงสามารถใช้ต่อเข้ากับท่อประเภทอื่น ๆได้โดยไม่เกิดปัญหา

Compatible with other pipes

Various standardized screwed joints and flange systemallow Thai Pp-R pipe to be used with other pipes. 

ความเป็นฉนวน

เนื่องจากมีค่าคงที่การนำความร้อนต่ำกว่าท่อโลหะมากดังนั้นจึงใช้ฉนวนในการหุ้มน้อยกว่าท่อโลหะด้วยเช่นกัน (ดูรายละเอียดเพิ่มเติมได้ในที่หน้า 38)

Insulation property:

As polypropylene plastic has lower thermal conductivity than steel, Thai PP-R pipe requires much less insulation thana steel pipe does. (See detail in pages 38) 

ดีต่อสิ่งแวดล้อม

เป็นพลาสติกที่ปลอดภัย และเป็น Thermo Plastic จึงสามารถนำมาใช้ช้ำได้อีกโดยไม่เกิดปัญหากับสิ่งแวดล้อม
